Resumes Are Essential in Today's Job Market

As we all know, the economy isn't so great these days and competition for jobs is fierce. It's important to make a great first impression, but you won't get the chance to make that impression unless you get an interview. And you won't get an interview without a stellar resume.

You might be the greatest computer technician in the world. You might be a marketing or sales genius. But none of that matters if no one knows you exist! You have to remember, the person looking to hire someone has to deal with tons and tons of resumes and you need one that is good enough to not only go into the "call for interview" list but to make it to the top of that list.

I know from personal experience, writing a resume can be tough. How do you word this? What kind of words are appropriate to use? What about punctuation? And the questions go on and on.
That's where Pongo Resume comes in. They have a great resume builder that makes the process easy and painless. It gives you a great format and you can choose from several different layouts. If you're not sure what to write, it even gives you tips and example phrases and words to use in each section (which personally, I think is great because I never know what to say on a resume).

It only costs $14.95 a month, but if you're like me and want to "test drive" everything first, you can sign up for their free 7 day trial. The free trial lets you use their free resume builder but it's a very good tool to have in your job search, so if you like their trial you'll definitely want to sign up for the full service. The monthly membership lets you build resumes, helps you write cover letters, teaches you interview tips and tricks and you can even get live step-by-step help and support.
I hope you find Pongo Resume as useful as I have and if you're searching for a job, good luck!
(I am participating in a campagin from bucks2blog for a resume writing company. I was compensated for this post, however, all opinions expressed here are entirely my own. And I have actually used the service in the past, as well, and found it very helpful.)
